Drilling and Testing

Kaolin mining starts off with testing the land for minerals.

The overburden is removed and stockpiled.

Stockpiles are used to segregate the different grades of materials.

Arcilla utilizes over sixty trucks to haul raw minerals from mine sites all across the middle Georgia area.

The land is reclaimed by contouring and grading surfaces to blend with nearby land.
